It is one of the early built multi-purpose halls in Ambala Sadar and has been meeting the need of residents
for thirty years. It is situated on Railway Road. It was built in the memory of Rukmani Devi daughter of
Late Mr. H.K. Das, a charter member of Rotary Club of Ambala.
Mr. BN Chakravarty laid the foundation stone of the hall on October 12, 1969.
The foundation stone of the hall was laid by the then Governor of Haryana Mr BN Chakravarty on October
12, 1969. The sanction was received from the Haryana Governor to construct the hall on the land belonging
to the education department.
